Chocolate Chip Cookie Squares
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp water
2 eggs
2 ¼ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
300 g (1 ½ cups) chocolate chips
Combine butter, brown sugar, vanilla, water and
eggs. Beat for a few minutes. Stir in flour, baking
powder and chocolate chips. Cover bowl with
plastic wrap and leave in the fridge 1-3 hours.
Flatten out onto large cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F
for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly, then cut into squares.
