Ginger Snaps

In large bowl, beat:
1 egg
¾ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
¼ cup molasses

In medium sized bowl, mix:
2 cups flour
1 tbsp each, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves
1 tsp baking soda

Mix together and roll into small balls. Roll balls into bowl of sugar and
​place on baking sheet. Bake at 350° F for 10 minutes.
